How to handle a bitter coworker - office politics

Hei,

Im gonna keep this one short. I, among three other women, landed wellpaid positions. We all started out great, had lots of laughs and whatnot. It was good. However as I got wellaquainted with the rest of the staff, meaning the bosses and other colleagues, this one of the three other girls hated it.

During the meetings im eager to learn more so I engage myself to provide value. Everytime me and that girl disagree the boss is always agreeing with me. The bosses are strict and they want us to succeed so they are kinda hard on us, but its for the greater good.

This girl cant take that kind of feedback. Two days ago, she started crying in the office that we all share that the boss hates her and whatnot, and how she is looking forward to get new assignments and someone else than our boss to answer to. Now, since Im apparently the bosses favourite, she has targeted me out. Whats so crazy is that those other girls always doublecheck every office matter, business, law matters, cases, with me. Meaning she ignores me all day, and its been going on for 1 week now. The whole situation is bizarre cos we all started the first of february.

Lately these other girls have been trickletruthin about why im always the one who gets assigned the interesting cases and what not. Obviously they are all talking about me when im not there. Yeah, i will admit it. I want to get ahead so I have been gaming (meaning making moves to show interest and capability) everyone there.

How do I play this? Meaning she is sooner or later come after me.
