My wife is acting out a lot lately and I cant figure out what its about. Basically what will happen is that she will complain about something that has fuck all to do with me. I'll acknowledge the problem as being shitty, what she really wants is for me to take responsibility and apologize for whatever the thing is. She'll keep pushing until eventually I explicitly tell her that it doesn't sounds like the problem has anything to do with me, that I'm happy to help, but wont take the blame.

Example: I left the house yesterday with the dog in the cage. She came home, let the dog out of his cage. At some point the dog got into pantry and ate the kids' scooby snacks (the irony). Shes mad at me for supposedly leaving the pantry open. When I wont take the blame, she picks tries to pick a fight about "how I never take responsibility and apologize."

Classic shit test, right? I usually just explain that the problem doesn't seem to have anything to do with me, maintain frame, and walk away. This used to work and the next day she would admit to being coocoo and we'd bang like teenagers. But lately this is happening more frequently like 2-3x a week, and the sex is down to about the same frequency (from damn near every night).

What am I doing wrong?
