I am 25 years old male, never been kissed and obviously a virgin.

I was born into a very religious family. Jehovah Witnesses are more conservative and controlling than your average Sunday church and I am not sure how I can communicate just how overbearing this religious life is, just take a look at exjw sub.

My life has been isolated and unorthodox for the following reasons:

1 - Being home schooled throughout my childhood. No school. No college.

2 - My entire social circle consists of local church members.

3 - Constant moving from country to country and living in isolated areas.

=== Personality issues

In addition I have always been very agreeable and non-confrontational. I let others walk all over me. I don't stand up for myself if it means rocking the boat. A people-pleaser. I am not a bad looking guy. I have had and do get plenty of IOI's. I was always too timid or pathetic to ever act on them.

=== Other issues

- Low income (about £8,000 a year)

- No drivers license (taking lessons atm)

=== Background

I lived from age 17 to 23 in the South of France with my younger sister and parents. For the first 4 and 1/2 years in a two bedroom flat where my social circle consisted almost entirely of the 30 strong local congregation of retired expat Jehovah's Witnesses. Then when I was 21 my father died and I was in a terrible position financially and socially. At least I learned to code.

At that point my Mom, sister and I moved in with a 75 year old member of our local congregation and we stayed with her, in France, for the next year and a half. I had no income during that time and it was truly the low point in my life.

Of course the perfect toxic outlet for all of this has been Video Games and the Internet - both on which I have wasted an incredible amount of time.

=== Current situation

I moved, with my family, back to the UK about a year and a half ago. I live with my Mom and Sister and we all chip in to household expenses. Currently my entire social life revolves around my religion which I don't believe in any more. I don't go out to clubs or bars. I never have in my entire life. I don't get opportunity to meet potential partners.

(Girls who are in this religion don't fuck around. There is too much social/religious pressure if they fuck up they are socially/emotionally stoned by the community. As a result the good ones get married before 20. There's no fooling around.)

I still have to look after my sister and mother. They are 100% invested in this religion. If I leave I lose everything.

I feel like the above has weighed me down and set me back so much with regards to my SMV. I simply don't have the experience that someone of my age should have. I don't expect normal healthy girls to understand any of this struggle or where I am coming from.

I want to blame my parents, this fucked up religion. But really the worst of it all is my pussy procrastinating attitude that has got me nowhere.

I wake up tired. At work I'm tired. When I have a day off I will sleep very late and do nothing with the day. I don't enjoy my hobbies like I used to. I browse reddit/youtube aimlessly. Even sticking to my workout schedule takes all the willpower I can muster.

=== The path

As I see it the only way forward is to continue lifting (been doing so since January) and possible join a gym, increase my income, speak to as many people as possible outside of my religion, possibly move to a bigger city. Journal every day. Get a drivers license. Practice assertiveness. I already feel moving back to the UK has been a very positive move.

I feel like I could read the sidebar all day but I am so tired of reading. I want to learn through real life practice. I'm done with reading.

Sometimes I just can't believe how ridiculous my situation is. And I blame myself and my weak attitude entirely.

What would you do in my situation?
