If I’ve learned anything, it’s that most problems come from overthinking. If you ever have to ask yourself a technical theory question, you are overthinking it. You should never have to “check your notes.”

The 3 seconds rule is very helpful, not just for approaching. Impulse and action. There is no thinking involved.

Built a habit. Everytime your brain tries to rationalize, you need to push yourself and go through. You see a hot girl? You are talking to her already. Your friends say the water is too cold? You are already swimming in it.

You will become someone who does things, instead of someone who just thinks about it.

You're planning to win. Your best education will come from freeballing it, failing about 20+ times and becoming much better at it in a 2 year time frame. That was my mistake for many years, I was unwilling to fail and be embarassed. Grandpa used to call it 'the school of hard knocks.'
