Hi,

I think I've injured my head. The earliest (insurance covered) medical appointment I can arrange is next week. I need advice.

I'm in my very early 20s, 5'10, 165lb, on nearly a month of caloric deficit and Intermittent fasting/ low carb diet (as prescribed in man 2.0) with a body fat around 10%.

I had a chest/back workout day with bench presses, partial deadlifts, dips and pull-ups.

I was attempting to maximize my time under tension, as prescribed in Danger & Play. I was doing leg raises, at the top of a pull up I held for roughly 30 seconds. I suddenly got this searing sensation at the base of my skull. It was so intense I had to stop working out. I thought I pulled a muscle, or was having a stroke.

Has anyone experienced this before?

It has dulled away since then, but it still persists.

I don't have a history of migraines. Based on what I've read I just had an exertion headache, and need to stay away from the gym for 2 months.

No fucking way.
