How did you go about acquiring plates when you were new? What experiences have you had getting new plates and maintaining? Read the sidebar but just want some more insight.

I have zero plates rn and need to think about what I want - maybe an LTR, maybe solo as I am now, not sure. How did you/are you finding out what you want?

Would appreciate any advice.
