go introduce yourself to the manager. Tell the manager you are interested in working there. Ask them what you need to do to apply. follow up with the manager after you apply. If you look like a personal trainer it should be easy getting a job there, you just need to make it happen.

You're talking about instagram, but not all of your clients are going to be millenials. I am 40 and a lot of people in my age group, mostly the men at least, do not use facebook, insta or any of that crap. So if you just focus on instragram, you're missing half the market already.

I recently hired a personal trainer. He had a good website. His wording and grammar were correct. The message behind what he said was sincere. The pictures made him appear like a nice guy to work with. I think those small things are very big things that net you a lot of customers. Also, you have to be able to reach people on a personal level when training them. From that, you'll get referrals. My trainer and I are very, VERY different, but he knows how to find common ground and act like my buddy. That's how you get paid.

I just don't know how these people with tens and hundreds of thousands of followers do it when they're not all that famous besides maybe being famous on a local level.

They outsource their IG accounts to have someone manage them.
