I was in one of the on-campus computer labs of my school and a girl walks in and sits a seat away from me. I look her over and she’s cute. After a couple minutes I was legitimately wondering whether or not one of the printers in the room was working so (after a small bit of nervousness) I opened her about it, which somehow led into a 15 minute conversation. It was mostly small talk about school, where you from, etc. Nothing major but nice. Mutual Questions back and forth. I had to leave for my next class but before I left I took a second, got the nuts, and told her “We should get coffee sometime.” She responded positively and took out her phone to exchange numbers. I texted her mine and left. A couple minutes later she responded with a “hey hey (cat emoji)” I haven’t texted back yet.

I’m proud of myself for opening and closing. My only concerns are I didn’t really sexualize or flirt. Properly showing intent is something I need to work on. I was in the moment so I wasn’t checking for IOIs or thinking of smooth RSD shit to say. This is only the 2nd number close I’ve had since TRP. Trying not to friend-zone, over invest, or overthink (yeah yeah I know I am just by writing all this shit). I wanted a RP opinion on this so I thought I’d ask. Phones only for logistics. Should I wait a couple days and then set something up this weekend or do it now? And How do you go about showing intent?
