Hey guys, I had a question
I want to compare and contrast between two popular FRs that were made on the main sub, in the context of my own experience.
The first is about the guy who was out with his girlfriend, when a guy started flirting with her, and she flirted back, so he shook her the wrist and yelled at her to not disrespect him in public, almost leading to a fight and then a drama-filled walk in the rain. The second is of the guy who matched and hooked up with the Syrian chick in Louisiana, where at one of the clubs they visited, a beta Uber driver she had been stringing along tried to set up shivving him outside, but he declined and stayed focus on staying in the club and with the girl and the beta orbiter Uber guy left.
The first FR, while the OP claimed to have held frame, was changed to flair "Blue Pill Example" and in the discussion his behaviour was considered beta and it was held that as soon as his girlfriend began acting that way, he should have just downgraded her to plate and moved on. In the second FR, the guy was congratulated for holding frame, and it was followed by a discussion and subsequent posts on aggressive betas who can fuck you up and the need to hold frame to ensure your security.
My question is, isn't the attractive thing to do to engage and fight for the woman?
Where I'm coming from is my own experience and evolutionary biology. With one of my past girlfriends, and in fact in general all, she was most turned on and we had the hottest sex when I was physically dominant and established the physical domination over her, caused by a fight and out of anger. Equally, when I passionately chased other women when they made me mad, and laid down the law is when they were most compliant and most turned on, and sex was had almost immediately. Along with fighting for them out of jealousy with others. No physical fight yet, but establishing my ownership.
From an evolutionary biology perspective, the reason the woman is attracted to those guys with the big muscles and who are ripped and tall, is their better fighting capability and ability to fight for resources for her and protect her. His physical dominance means he is strong and will win, and he will engage and fight for her when necessary, which is why she submits to him.
I recently got into a heated verbal fight on Saturday, and in a heated situation, I held my own and established my power and dominance. I was pumping testerone, never felt more powerful and as the Alpha male, as defined in how to hold frame book. I didn't have to think about it. It made me want to start a Fight Club.
So, from the perspective of sexual strategy, why is it a dominant strategy not to fight and win? Women like fighters, like boxers and army men, and like being dominated by them, fighting ignites our primal instincts. Why should you chill out, let it slide? I'm not saying they should have fought in either FRs I cited, or in every case, it can be stupid, and just use them as an illustration, but why is fighting and establishing dominance, when sexually arousing, blue pill and not red pill?
