I'm a freshman in college, and about a week ago a couple friends and I went to pull an all-nighter waiting for tickets to the "biggest party of the year." Once we hit the line, we noticed that there was a pretty cute girl in front of us, and I decided to say hey. All my friends spent time talking to her while I ignored her/listened to music/talked to some other people, making occasional eye contact. As soon as we hit the 8AM shift change (I was the only one staying all night), she came over to me to say hi. We spent a while talking, flirting, hitting it off etc; at one point she even asked me to get in a snapchat with her because "I'm sending it to my friend and she always snapchats me the guys she ends up having sex with." Obviously she's into it, so I texted her the next day asking if she got her ticket, leading into sending (in as few messages as possible) "well we're doing a pregame for the party at our place, you should come." At this point she waits two days to respond, then says "it sounds like it'll be fun. how are your classes going?" A few messages of menial small talk later I got bored and stopped texting her, expecting that within the next couple days she'd probably re-initiate conversation. That was close to a week ago. I know I'm probably overthinking things, I just got out of a yearlong heavily BP relationship and I want to make sure I at least kind of know what I'm doing. Am I playing it correctly? Any advice on where to go from here?
