I was manipulated so hard in my marriage, that one day I realized, I have zero time to do any thing for me. I didn't understand at the time, but it hit me like a ton of bricks, that she (my ex) doesn't love me. There was no evidence to support that she even liked me. I literally did everything for her, every minute of every day, and I got nothing for it.

I left that very day.

I haven't completed that book, but I did make it a good way through (i lost my place, tbh :( ). As someone not so brand spankin' new to TRP, I can tell you that the anger will subside.

The choice is yours on what to do with that anger. For example, re military/college... just consider how many people never get the good life experience of 2-4yrs in the military (I think it should be mandatory for everyone), or how many go to college and mess it up, or don't even go to post secondary at all. Once you're done, your resume will be gilded in gold... for years, really. A qualified man is good. A qualified military man is probably... you know... better. So, I won't tell you how to feel about it, but I will present it in a way that's not all bad.

As for the rest... yeah, the anger will fade. By that time, you should have already started lifting weights, eating better, actively correcting your mannerisms/behavior if need be, etc. Meaning, you'll be well on the way to being the guy you see in your head when you think of the best version of yourself.

At that point, when it comes to women, I doubt you'll really give a shit about them. Keep reading, most important. Sidebar, respectable blogs, examples of men getting fucked over on reddit to bolster what you know is true about a sex that will quickly say, "Not all women are like that." because in her head, she clearly thinks she's the exception.

Fuck em, man.

In comparison to your life and how great that can be, they're really not that important. I mean, they literally contribute nothing, unless they are your boss and help move you forward or grow you outward. Otherwise, they don't do much else except get your dick wet, or raise your children.

Few women today are worthy of the sacrifice they seem to think they deserve, yet don't even understand.

My wife has manipulated me like a maestro. Like somebody with a personality disorder. My daughter has found it far more effective to manipulate her mother into manipulating me than trying it herself. I'm there to keep my daughter safe and hopefully happy. She doesn't get away with whining to me and other traditional father-daughter tools. The girl has too firm of a grip on reality (which I like to think is my doing) to be maniputively crazy. But she also didn't have the very difficult childhood that my wife did.

Well, I was married for several years. So, I'm very aware of how women manipulate women.

I think that you need to learn how to be happy by yourself; don't think that being in a long-term relationship with a woman will bring happiness.

Also, read more about the Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW) Movement. MGTOW isn't against random hook-ups, but they are against marriage and long-term relationships.

How is getting you to go through the military route to pay for college an exploitation? Have you seen college bills nowadays?

Remember what we are talking about is GENERALISATION, the book is generalisation cause it helps the conversation so when it happens we can go, "oh yeah, that's what we have learnt".

But understand this, not all women are the same. Already one poster have talked about his wife's difficult childhood, my ex has gone through poverty as a child and she certainly couldn't go "Daddy can..." cause he weren't there. If you are swallowing everything without chewing and spitting the bones and gunk out, you are going to get alot of shit mixed in with the food in your stomach and that stuff's gonna poison you man.
