What sometimes really stops me is that I would always see another man with the woman who eyes me. The best way to save time is to just nonchalantly ask if they're related after you open (indirect/direct) but most of the times, those eye stares dissolve into missed opportunities.

She'd be staring at you across the room, there's a lot of people, how do you even get there? Subtly, and maybe by chance (if you're lucky weaving through not forgetting while having a blast) what I like to do in the first 30-to 2 minutes of interaction: 2 personal/emotion based questions (your hair matches your x, are you a y) or I would even ask something logical, what do you do?

Sometimes though, I can never really tell if she's interested or not and it can sometimes just die down into awkward running out of interest convos. I'm sure she's got a lot, but she just stays there and I feel like carrying a convo. Eye contact and touch, if she doesn't really respond to the latter in the first 2 minutes, there's no interest.

What are some other quick tips you've found helpful that can be canned in 1-2 minutes after initial open?
