About 2.5 years ago I went to my friend Bill's wedding. While at the wedding I hooked up with one of his wife's college friends. We'll call her Rita. After the wedding Rita and I talked for a bit and would sometimes snapchat, but we lived far apart and it fizzled out.

Fast forward to this past weekend. A bunch of my old college friends got together and all hanging out. One of my buddies brings up the time I hooked up with a bridesmaid at Bill's wedding and I truthfully say I don't even remember her name, Bill's wife corrects me loudly "Her name is Rita" and I'm like oh yeah. Then everyone starts laughing at Rita's expense.

The next day I wake up and find that Rita has just started following me on Instagram (I haven't spoken to her in about 2 years). I show Bill and say his wife must have said something. She flatly denies it and I want to believe her, but we have no mutual friends other than her and I know how girls can be with gossip.

Also, I debated messaging her "who is this?"... Is that too much?
