Focus on the things about you that you can improve. You can't fix ugly, but you can get a decent haircut, grow a beard that will cover some of your ugly, get in shape, get nicer clothes and shoes, work on your social skills... etc.

You're still learning. Women aren't attracted just visually. They are into people and personalities. When I was fat I had great game and pulled super hot women. My abundance wasn't 100%. So I would still get territorial and butthurt, but game is Soo important it's not funny.

Are you actually ugly?

If YOU think you're ugly and no one else does, then you might have body dysmorphia.

If you get told often that you're ugly, then you probably are. It is important to clarify this first.

Essentially though (if we assume the latter is true, and of course if it isn't for you, it is for many) then yes, looks are extremely important.

Obviously personality is important too, but at first you only have looks to go on.

I'd note that confidence/assertiveness and arrogance are very difference things though, so I wouldn't get them confused.

The importance of looks however is something the whole "red pill" shit seems to often over-look. You get the more sensible and intelligent guys who will agree that looks are important, and they are generally the ones who apply the "red pill" philosophy for what it should be - teaching yourself to be a decent, normal, confident, functioning adult male in society.

Unfortunately a lot of people who take up the red pill idea are incels - ugly, un-confident, socially disabled, and simply want to blame everyone else and the world around them (especially women). They'll deny that looks are important and think they can work around it using retarded shit like "game" which doesn't fucking work.

I don't know why though - even if you are ugly, it's 2020. You can get it fixed.
