Not sure if I’m overthinking here, so I want your guys opinion on it.

Long story short: This girl always stared at me, so I said to myself “might as well talk”. She’s a teaching assistant for my class and I wanted to know more about it, so she said to wait after class to talk about it. I said I can’t do it today, how about Thursday....she said something along he lines of “I can’t talk about it now because the prof is teaching”. After class, I waited for her a bit, but I saw her being busy with some students, so I just left because I had stuff to do. I feel like I ruined my chances here, but who cares right?

So the next time I see her, I’m just gonna say “sorry I left early because I had something to do, are you free after class today?” and go on from there.

I’m not sure if I’m coming off as needy or not. Your thoughts?
