At this point in society, will you ever actually meet a woman who has not taken prescription for depression, anxiety, or talked to a therapist about previous trauma?

Even if her brain chemicals are prestige, how many of them have not been sexually abused in their lives?

TLDR; it's better to plate someone who takes medication vs someone who is left untreated / ignorant of whatever tf is wrong with them. Always wear a condom. Never LTR.

I was reflecting on my oneitis today and how much of a beta I was being, so much so that I overlooked so many red flags including her taking medication for mental issues which explains why she was so irrational and unstable.

Borderline Personality Disorder, Histrionic PD, Narcissistic PD, etc.

Unlike deoression or anxiety, these are not neurological and medication doesn't really touch this class of mental illness. Your basic personality is warped and damaged.

However because people with PDs generally won't be honest with authority figures, doctors often misdiagnose them with Bipolar, anxiety, depression, etc. This is because the doctor doesn't have access to a thorough and accurate life history from them. So they end up prescribing meds that don't work.

It's unclear what causes PD's, but it may be a combination of trauma and neglect in the first 3 years of life, learned/coached behavior, and genetic factors leading to increased impulsivity and reduced empathy.

For a LTR, yes. A girlfriend who is on meds has deeper problems that she hasn't addressed. Instead of trying to improve her life and face her demons, she chose the easy way out and would rather address the negative emotions than the problem that caused those negative emotions.

If she's a plate who cares. Just be careful if she suddenly stops taking them, it can make people go crazy.

Not a troll man. Got into a really reflective state of mind today where I was looked upon where I was and where I am now. Can’t believe that I over looked this major red flag. Really goes to show how much oneitis can takeover your mind

I'm not one to stigmatize mental health because god knows I was one hell of a depressed teenager. This being said, I ended up dating women with mental issues in my early 20s until I realized that I was attracting this type of female because of my own feelings of self worth. That's all I believed I could get and in many ways such women are attracted to nice guys they can dump their drama on. So beware.

Friend of mine married an unstable girl, he was stressed most the time. 5 years later and she’s still unstable, he’s more stressed.
