There was this old coworker that I like. I asked her out for a cup of coffee 2 times but was rejected. I started to ignore her. Then I switched job. That was a year ago.
A few months ago, I suddenly realized that when I ignored her months ago, she seemed to notice and she tried to talk to me more. She paid more attention to me. She even flirted with me, giving me praises, and leaning towards my body a few times. A few of her friends (who were also my coworkers) also encouraged me to ask her out. I did not of course, because I asked her out 2 times before. She also seemed sad and quiet when I left my old job and actually stomped out when me and my other coworkers took a commemorative picture before I left.
So, I tried to contact with her, sending a few messages asking how she's been, etc. It had been 8 months since I talked to her the last time. After a few messages, I asked her why she refused to go out with me. She did not answer. Then I told her, something like "if you does not like me, just say so." She started getting emotional (in the tone of her messages), saying she was about to get married, and I should stop messaging her. I was also angry, said a few hurtful things to her, and things like, if she already has a boyfriend, why didn't she just say so when I asked her out for a coffee? She did not answer, then she blocked me.
She getting married was a lie by the way, because I visited her Facebook page before (we're not friends, and okay, I did stalk her a bit), and from her posts and the comments of her friends, I knew she was single, and she still is.
Can I recover from this? What should be the next move if I want to ask her out?
And if you think I should not pursue this girl again, can you give me a few tips on how to forget her quickly, because over the last few weeks, I have thought about this girl a lot. Thanks.
