So here's my situation gentlemen. A current plate of mine, let's call her Girl #1, is a good friend of 7 years with Girl #2. 2 is a former plate of mine that I saw a few times before I realized that all she was was a pretty shell over a deadbeat person. I dropped her because all she wanted to do was party, get drunk, pass out, and smoke weed every weekend. She's a model so she had a hard time getting over me dropping her when she negatively reacted to me telling her I didn't want her seeing other guys. Other than that, I ended it on pretty good terms and we would still send each other snapchats for about a month after I dropped her.

Fast forward to now, 4 months later, and I'm taking Girl #1 out to coffee this Saturday. Last night, we talked about my history with Girl #2 and if she would be okay with going out to coffee with me. I replied confirming we did see each other but nothing was ever official (no commitment). She goes on to say she is confused and wants to talk more about Girl #2. To which I reply "The more we talk about Girl #2 the less I want to take you out for coffee Saturday, we'll talk about this another time, goodnight." This was well before either if us went to bed and she was well aware of that at the time.

Girl #2 snapchats me after this

"you're talking to my best friend? Lol that's low"

"Low? What the hell?"

"Lol bye"

Today I ask Girl #1 initiates general convo and she double texts me "My class is going good, we're watching a movie, what about you?" "WHY did you go off on Girl #2 last night?"

I know they are talking about me, and I think Girl #2 may be trying to sabotage us because she still has feels for me. (Jealousy)

I've already told her I won't talk about girl #2, so I ignore it and tell her "my class is going good too, what kind of movie?"

Girl #1: "You completely avoided my question..." Girl #1: "Okay......?"

I want her to understand that if we are to see each other, Girl #2 stays out of sight and out of mind.

What should I reply with? I have read receipts turned on so she knows I've read the first of the last two messages.

I'm thinking of just not replying at all, let the hamster run and the soup simmer until she texts me again.

I'm also thinking of playing a dread game card by texting her "how does [different coffee shop than the one I told her] at 4:30 sound today?" later on today. Then, amid her confusion, apologize and say that was meant for someone else in my phone.

What would you all do in this situation? I will keep you all updated if need be
