I’ve been on a self improvement binge. I workout basically every day and i took a sales job that is forcing me to learn game essentially. I stopped going out and binge drinking every weekend. I deleted almost all my social media.
Im becoming addicted to success. My new thrills are hitting a deadlift PR or making a tough sale. I’ve found that people I considered close friends don’t care as much now that I’m not going out all the time. I don’t get invited places as much and people look at me differently.
How do I find a balance between improving and isolation? I get plenty of social interaction from my job so I’m not worried about that. I feel a bit hopeless seeing how others live every day. I no longer care for simple validation so I live in a different universe to people my age.
I would love some advice from people who have been through this stage. How do I move forward?
