Turning 22 this summer.
I'll have completed 1/3 of my university credits for Comp Sci at the end of the summer semester. I bounced in and out of University to try new things, but came back to Uni a couple of semesters ago.
I won't lie, I'd gotten soft during COVID. Now, with everything reopening here for us in Canada now, I'm fixing my shit as it was pre-covid (Diet, working out, MMA). It was easy pre-covid as I had a lot more time to dedicate to things like making food, working out, and going to my MMA gym.
The problem I'm facing now is not being able to balance my life. A good chunk of my day is just studying, usually, I feel lethargic and/or mentally drained from 8+ hours of studying and completing assignments. This is uncharted territory for me and I'm struggling to withhold the discipline to put all the pieces together and override my mental deficiency in these periods of weakness.
A solution I've attempted to come up with myself is taking baby steps and slowly integrating habits into my daily life. I've tried to throw together a hectic schedule before but it usually blows up in my face and I burn out. Slowly integrating habits has seemed to help ease me into what I want my life to look like (School, MMA, etc..).
I'd like some input on how you guys manage hectic schedules and avoid burnout. Especially the guys that balance university/work with busy schedules outside of those areas.
