The last few months, I've been ballroom dancing with an old friend of mine. We have no interest in fucking each other, but it's a fun hobby. My dance partner used to be pleasant and obedient, which is good because the woman has to follow the man's lead or things don't work.

Recently she found a new boyfriend, who happens to have at least ten years worth of ballroom dancing experience more than I have. Thankfully that boyfriend doesn't mind my dance partner and I finishing our dancing season (which we've already paid for). However, on top of dancing with me for one hour per week, she now also dances a few hours per week with her very experienced boyfriend. After a few months of this, she is now a slightly better ballroom dancer than I am, and she's used to dancing with a much better ballroom dancer than I am.

Naturally, hypergamy kicks in. She used to only comment on the few serious mistakes I was making in a respectful manner (which was helpful). Now she's regularly commenting on details that I'm doing fine given my experience level but that her boyfriend does better. Whenever I now make a serious mistake she gets nasty and starts refusing to follow my lead, which only makes things worse.

She's claiming that she's only trying to help me, and she is right most of the time. However, aside from bitchy women being not fun to dance with and unwilling women being tough to lead, there's also only so much I can focus on at one time. If she corrects me 1-2 times a night, then that would be helpful. Instead, she might point out five things in one hour that I could be doing better (and her boyfriend is doing better) and it's too much.

How can I deal with this? Usually women will accept you ignoring and/or mocking them when they shit test you, because in the back of their head they know they're being unreasonable. However, she really seems to think that's she helping me and that I should listen to her, so agree & amplifying her or ignoring her risks really pissing her off. I could also do a point-blank "you only get one correction per night, use it wisely." However, that may make me look insecure and inferior, which could cause her to become even more bitchy and dominant. Is there an alternative I'm missing?
