That's only hormonal birth control. There isn't any hormonal method for men yet and the one large trial of a hormonal method was shitcanned due to side effects.

The most likely mass market methods are looking like they will be mechanical in nature, killing sperm viability through physical methods, so no mood swings worries there.

For real though if you are 100% invested in being child free then it's a vasectomy you should be looking at. A one time minor procedure, no upkeep, effectively permanent and cheap to boot.

Only difficulty is getting a doctor to perform it on men under 30 or those without children already due to its poor rate of reversal success.
