HB 9 I know (25), I am (48), suddenly decided to notice me last night. Sits next to me, eye flirts the whole way, played with her hair the entire time and tossed off IOIs like crazy (the knocking knees are my fave). I bring up the long-distance BF casually in conversation and she says he's threatening to break up with her because she won't fly out to see him enough, despite him being in finance and her doing academic work. It is on the rocks.

By the end of the night she asks me for my number (so she can send a photo of a cookbook I would like (!), so I enter it into the phone) then as we leave tells me she wants to hang out again soon and gives me a big hug in front of a bunch of people we both know.

How does this work? My thought is more of the same, act cool, wait for her to set something up. If I see her out, I am nice, still with the solid eye contact (it is everything).

Any other hints? I know not to expect much, it could be short term feels based on BF stuff, but what am I to expect and what should I do to maximize my chances.? Obvious daddy issues, step dad left (which means no dad at all).
