Hi I am 29 years old, been together for 1 year 8 months and wanted to ask how do I deal with a gf who every time I want to break up, she cries grabs my stuff and prevents me from leaving. Threatens to kill herself.

I have asked her to leave but she will not. I even asked her if she can find an apartment of her own and then maybe we can stay together. As my job is based from home. I am just sick of seeing her for 12 hours all day everyday. She currently has no money and no job is from China but has permanent residency here and is studying some property course. Our relationship could be ok if we did not live together, I want and need peace and quite and living with a girl is an absolute nightmare.

She does alot of good stuff, like cooking food most nights and keeping the house tidy. I appreciate her doing this but it is not a big deal for me as I can make my own food or order easily as well. However, lots of useless arguing and tries to pressure me into marriage and kids, both of which I do not want to at least 35-40. Also she is 30 so i feel like i could be wasting her time by stringing this along as her prime years are slowly dwindling.

We currently live in an apartment together, I pay all the rent and have paid the deposit of $7500. She also owes me $10k and I have a computer here worth $7500 and a TV worth $4000 (which is too big to move). Should I just forgo the rent deposit and the money she owes me and leave when she is not around? Should i leave after a few weeks of paying late rent and then leave. The money luckily is not a huge deal for me to forgo, but I would rather not or find a better option.
