Recently went to a house party, both me and my ex attended as we have a few mutual friends, found it a bit odd though. She was with a date but she spent pretty much the entire night trying to get my attention, wanting to talk to me and complimenting me, pretty much ignored her date the entire night. She also likes everything I put on social media. Both of us are in our early 20's.

I was somewhat dismissive towards her at the party, not in a rude way, I just don't really have anything to say to her, we aren't friends and I don't plan on sleeping with her as she is an ex, so I don't see the point in making in depth conversation with her, but because I wasn't putting effort into talking to her she was getting upset.

Me and this girl weren't together for very long, found out she was cheating, I know a lot of people so word got back to me, I ended things right away and cut contact. This happened around 8 months ago.

Don't worry, i'm not going to go back there, I just don't understand the logic of cheating, but then getting really upset when I leave and wanting me back even a long while after.
