So I recently got myself into a relationship with a lass with a significantly lower SMV that mine. From the outset I've made it a point to instill an underlying dread on a daily basis.

Almost everyday she makes it clear that she recognises she's worth much less than me and worried that I have lots of other options. Stuff like "I hate knowing that you could leave me any moment for someone else", "why have you settled for me, you could get any girl you want", "I'm scared of you getting bored of me" etc.

Whilst this sounds good, it has meant that she's constantly in fear of being rejected and dumped at the slightest thing she does wrong. Downshot of this is that she has brought more orbiters into her life because (in her eyes) there's a high possibility that she's going to need a raft to jump onto when I'm finished with her.

Orbiters are an innevitability, but do you guys think I'm going too heavy on the dread?

TL;DR - Higher SMV than her and constant dread = her feeling insecure and getting more orbiters. Should I tone down the dread?
