I think it was Sinatra who actually said “the best revenge is massive success.” Use your pain and anger as fuel to go after your passions. Hit the gym. Become your best self.

Reach out to a guidance counselor, school psychologist/social worker, or therapist. I’m nearing 40, and the bravest people I’ve ever met have known when to ask for help.

We have all tasted that. Anger is what you get when love goes bad.

The source of your anger, probably has a lot to do with the people who were supposed to be there for you and guide you with honesty, respect and love.

Anger is the first step, you know you were trespassed against, you were traumatized. You are on the right path.

The next step is going to be acknowledging that you did what you were able, with the knowledge and willpower you had at the time. Could you have done better... you could never know this. Its past now. You used the tools and power you had, and were let down by others. It's probably going to take years to honestly forgive yourself.

In the meantime, realise that the punishment should fit the crime. In your case you were abused by this, your heart and mind betrayed, but you need to choose whether you will perpetuate that evil, or be a better man.

The punishment should fit the crime. And the offended should be the one who offers mercy... it shouldnt be taken by the the criminal.

Knowing the crap that happened to you, and talking about it with people you trust, smart people, has the potential to make you better at both guarding yourself against them, and calling their bullshit.

I hope this advice helps. Ultimately, I think men go through this between 25 and 35 years old. Our brain catches up to our emotions and we start looking back at why we feel the way we did, and the garbage people pull on us. It shouldnt be this bad, but I feel it happens to many guys.

Hang in there okay, you can come out of the anger a much better man. Until then, try and channel it into a purpose that will serve you like the gym or a career, instead of something that digs you into a hole. Be angry, but within reason to the offense.

When you meet questionable people, it gets easier and easier to dismiss and ignore their bullshit.

Take that anger and use it at the gym, lift weights, feel that anger slip out of you and watch your body transform, you’ll feel amazing.

Anyone who has their boundaries crossed repeatedly would feel that way. I’m sick of people at work not showing me respect, especially women.

Strive for excellence in yourself before others

Then you can be angry all you want.
