My career is making money. I identify market demands, and then I build an automated system to fulfill those demands. Right now, I'm running a couple of fake "organic shit" stores that use drop shipping and obscene markups on junk. Those damn hippies will buy anything that their retarded friends advertise on Facebook. I have some affiliate programs running as well. They're mostly run off a complex set of scripts that manage some social media profiles. Once in a while I create new messages to spin and new affiliate links to push.

Other than that I occasionally have a "real job", mostly so I have a reason to get up in the morning. Right now I'm doing a 3 month contract developing a firewall solution and heavy security audit for a local company. Before that I did a couple months loading packages into cars at a department store, lol. It turns out that it doesn't really matter what I do as a job, as long as I have one. When I don't have a job I have to go to, I tend to get moody and unstable (according to the kids and their mother).

For things like this I usually just use Python or a generic bash script since they're universal as hell. I have some stuff scripted out in PHP, and I occasionally do things in random languages (C++, C#, and VB6) just for the experience.

Almost everything is purely based around cURL and other standard utilities/libraries so it's all mostly language agnostic. I don't always work alone... for smaller stuff I always write my own, but sometimes if I don't have the time to really develop and debug something that needs to be done RIGHT THE FUCK NOW, I have a couple people with amazing turnaround time that I can call on.

I don't call myself a programmer per se, I actually like the term "Systems Developer" which was gifted to me by a former employer. I was more than a systems engineer, but I wasn't really an architect so I was a developer.
