I'm Catholic too. Was indoctrinated in bluepill ideology growing up. I was conditioned by my environment to be beta. I'm fighting to be as RP as I can be now that I'm a self-providing adult.

"Blessed are the meek..." what a crock of shit, Jesus!

I think there is a lot of wisdom in Catholic teaching, though. It does a decently good job of promoting traditional gender roles and strongly discouraging women from riding the CC. Plus, encouraging virtuous lives in general is objectively a good thing.

I just finished a book that explores some very insightful observations on relationship dynamics called "Men, Women, and the Mystery of Love" by Edward Sri. It's a pretty easy and concise read, I very much recommend it.

Also look into Christopher West if you're into Theology of the Body as your name suggests. I recently started a book of his.

OK first of all, there's no such thing as magic, so that throws a bunch of the Bible out the window. Faith/belief is good, but being fucking Real is better.

Second of all, are you still asking for approval and validation from a mythical father figure? Then you're still plugged in. Still drinking the kool-aid. Quit drinking that stuff.

Like modern feminism, it's a crock of bullshit and it brings no actual value to your life, in my personal opinion.

Read the God Delusion by Richard Dawkins before you continue on with any religious texts. Many religions have helpful lessons in their text but they are wrapped up in dogmatic nonsense and useless mysticism. Those same morals and lessons can be found in other sources.
