I have a couple pairs of both. However, I lean towards the red wings and I'm assuming you're referring to their heritage line.

Redwings that are really worn have a very masculine vibe around them. Chelsea boots are very stylish and most guys dont wear them. That means that you stand out in a good way. Get them both.

If you don't need boots for work don't bother with them. Everyone will see right through the charade.

If you need them for work I've found metatarsal muckboots to be a great brand. Waterproof, shock resistant and easily the most comfortable boot I've ever had.

I live in Australia and RM Williams leather boots are the go.
