Hey all!

I'll try to keep this brief. I recently stumbled on TRP and RPChristians, and it has transformed my life completely. I've been in a LTR with a sweet girl for a year and a half now, and unfortunately in the beginning I was horribly beta. I dropped everything to be with her, and made her the center of my life. By stopping that, it has brought a lot of our relationship into the light.

We've been rocky these past few months, and that's when I decided to start being more of an alpha and staying in my frame. Last Sunday and this Tuesday, her and I had a talk, and it was just her explaining how she wants me to step up on certain things and that she's not sure she even trusts me or would say yes if I asked her to marry me. With those words, I withdrew from her hard. I told her I'd get back to her after I had some space, and it actually made her go out of her way to apologize to me for manipulating and putting too much pressure on me to be what makes her happy. I did appreciate her taking responsibility for that. What's going on now, is that I don't feel comfortable spending Christmas with her. I told her that and she's been cold and having a pity party, but I do believe it's the right thing to do after how she had acted towards me/what she said.

Is it right for me in this situation to tell her no to this, and say: "because of how you treated me/what you said, I don't think we should spend this Christmas together?" Any advice is greatly apreciated!
