Throwaway and on mobile, I'll try to condense what I'm going through and articulate it the best I can. It will seem random, feel free to ask for clarification.

Summary:

Broke up with an LTR 5+- months ago, no reason other than family responsibilities that required my full attention.

Since then, I can not seem to get past this hump. I have deleted social media, been working out since January (16% bmi down from 28%), started a new position and in line for a promotion before the end of this year. Gentleman, I have oneitis and its bad.

Mutual friends and interests make it seemingly impossible to avoid thoughts, sight, and even hearing about my ex. I would like to think I'm in monk mode by pursuing a promotion, better physique, and overall success minus her and women in general. I just can't get over the feeling that I am boring now and have nothing close to a social circle or bros. I have slowly isolated myself from my previous circle due to lack of ambition from their collective ends.

What I am asking is how does one rid oneself of obsessive thoughts and an overall feeling of "I'm missing out." There is also phases of anger when I hear of my ex enjoying life on easy mode while responsibilities can not allow me the same blissful ignorance.

The abundance mindset is easier said than done and prospecting and spinning plates is not an option right now. It's all mental at this point, how do I win this war?
