u/pieroit inspired me to ask this with his recent post

I am aloof, girls like that. But when I approach it is almost impossible to pull off, I feel like a dancing monkey. I have been approached by girls a couple of times, and in those cases it was really easy because I was the one who got approached. Woujo wrote something to effect of never approaching from a weaker position (she is sitting, u standing or leaning etc). How do you handle this and is it worth it in the first place?

P. S. I am in Eastern Europe and approaching here is harder compared to the West. I almost gave it up. I am 28, good looking, tall, etc.
