Hey guys, im wondering what you all think about compatibility. I know a lot of people say it doesnt matter but to be honest im not super sure about that.

My situation: Dating a girl 3 years since we were 18 (lol i know), we've grown in that time to be a bit more different. The main thing is shes more basic than i am. I'm more into art drugs philosophy punk diy stuff, and while shes drawn to that shes more linear and mainstream than me. Im also a bit smarter than her. Last night we went to a show with some friends from an alternative college or whatever (we both go to a good normal school) and i was vibing pretty well with the girl that was from the alt school. In general i vibe better with that crowd. Dunno how much it matters in an LTR. I still like my girl for sure, but a fair amount is lust i think.
