I've heard both sides of the argument. Some say never to compliment a girl you haven't slept with, and others advise to tell the girl you find her cute on approach.

Is one way better than the other? Depends on the type of girl? Or you have to be very high SMV to compliment a girl and make her blush?

Any other approach tips will be appreciated. I'm trying to tune up my interactions and have fun, while improving.
