So one day I noticed a cute girl checking me out and giggling with her friends about it. Turned out later that we took the same bus and before she left, she stopped and asked me for my IG and sent me a message.

After a few messages it turned out that she's 17 while I'm 24. She said something like "damn now I feel too young" and added "but my last bf was 25...so I cant judge". Ignored that stuff and kept the conversation light and fun.

I was on the fence about it because of the age thing but decided to hit her up to meet one day and she said she already made plans with some friends. Said no worries and nexted her.
Forgot all about her for like 3 weeks until I ran into her yesterday.
She got all worked up about seeing me and after some small talk said "You never asked me out again after that one time..." with a sad look on her face. Shrugged and told her I'm pretty busy. Teased her a bit and left it at that.

She's fun and I'm confident that this could be an easy lay but this age thing is kinda tripping me out.

Would appreciate any advice about this whole thing.
