M/18, tall, middle class, go to a fancy private high school, if you fight there you are automatically suspended even though you pay the scholarship.Also Eastern European country, guys are very violence prone.My parents got a discount so I pay like a third of the money for the school

I was takings photos of notes of physics from one girl from my class.At one moment one of those rich snobby(who probably think I am bellow them) guys comes up and says 'move' and starts pushing his chair into me.The rest goes like this:

Me:'I will move when I finish'

Him:'Move!Fuck your mother!'

Puts his hand on me

I slap his hand off of me and point a finge at him

Me:'Don't touch me!'(relaxed, strong, commanding voice)

He starts mumbling to himself an breathing deeply

I look straight into his eyes and say(in a commanding tone):'Dont pump yourself with me, if you had asked nicely, I would have moved, now your just gonna have to wait'

He retreats to his friends and starts mumbling:He's lucky I can control myself ' and other shit, while his friends snicker and whisper some shit talk

I finish taking the photos, move, and only then he puts his chair in place

Did I do the right thing?

How should I respond if he starts throwing shit talk my way from now on as I am almost certain he will?
