I'm recently out of a three year LTR, officially ended about 4 months ago, but I was over it long before then. Immediately after it became official I got back on the scene with Tinder. I've had dozens of dates and can pull at least 5 numbers per week on average with minimal effort. I convert most of these into dates (coffee), I would say about 30-40% of them flake on the date for BS reasons. After coffee I play it by ear and either ask them out for drinks/dinner or over to my place, usually drinks/dinner. I've had three great looking girls go cold almost immediately after date #2, which often appears to have went equally as well as date #1. I'm a good judge of character and a great conversationalist, most of these girls are laughing none stop the entire night. What gives? I'm banging a lot of girls and I just don't understand why so many of them go so cold after a second date that they originally appeared to be excited to go on.

I'm very tall, 6'3", 25, extremely successful (six figure income), I dress well and am in decent shape (I'm no adonis). I've been cautioned by peers to downplay my job as I may come off as intimidating to girls my age who are earning in the low 30's. I've yet to try this.

Advice please, on what I'm doing wrong and what I should do when a date goes cold that quick. What's SOP in this case? Week of no contact and try again?
