I'm meeting girls from tinder a lot and I'm finding that a lot of the conversation ends up with them inquiring about what I do professionally. Either before meeting or while meeting.

My profile is all about fun/sports/rugby etc... but it's not exactly a "bad boy" profile, so I attract a fair few "classic" beautiful girls, who are oftne on the look for a serious relationship.

but of course they are all AWALT and love having fun and my fun side of things, and I usually have a 50% change of getting them to fuck within the first 3 dates, but I know they'll dry up pretty quick and put me in their provider box as soon as I mention that I work for a big consultancy earning 6 figures, bling bling eyes straight away. My job isn't exactly glarmous, it's your archetype white collar office job - it literally screams paycheque. Selling big machines to large banks.

But they are persistent in asking. Picture this exchange on Tinder right now. She's an "Architect":

HB8: (she started): Hey, how is your weekend?

Me: hey - sporty, lots of footy and rugby. u?

HB8: less sporty, beer garden and took my mother out on Sunday for mothers day. just chilling back at mine now.

HB8: Are you working tomorrow?

me: yeah, do u work on plans for buildings and such?

HB8: yeah, i specialise in education buildings, i worked on <redacted> school and <redacted> university, I did the drawing for <redacted> building.

HB8: what do you do?

me: what do u think?

HB8: at least give me some clue...!!!??!?! is it something sporty?

me: if only, i take rugby very seriously, nearly daily and go to regional competitive matches.

HB8: you must have very good thighs then. So, am I going to have to play 20 question to know what you do? is it a professional body accredited job like doctor or laywer.

at this point I'm like, fuck, she wants to know whether i'll be her bb. tempted to just next her, but i think i got her intrigued that something could come out of this.

How do you deal with this shit?
