It's hard to digest all the information you guys share with me, a long with the information from books and the side bar. The way I remember things is by practicing, but it's kinda hard to do during this pandemic (besides improving my dread game). However one of the main ideas that I get from reading the comments is to have a IDGAF mentality.
I don't care if THEY make fun of me, THEY don't invite me places, That she's cheating on me, that you're career pays more than mine, that she wants this when I wanted that instead, that they get mad when I say NO and set boundaries.
Don't get me wrong, when having such mentality I still observed the situation at hand to see what's going on. If it's a me thing that's causing harm to myself. But if it's something I can't control, I feel like I don't care anymore and move on to ways that I can make myself better and not waste time on the small stuff.
I don't know if I'm wrong and I still have a long way to go. But I'm just starting not to care anymore of the things that people say or do. It used to bother me, but not anymore. Any guidance on how to balance a IDGAF mentality will help!
