Maybe you're not as attracted as you think you are and are trying to force it. Or maybe there's something else wrong with her only your subconscious can tell and you are fighting it.

Any time I haven't gone for it I later learned I was stick-saved at the last second from a horrible mistake.

Sometimes its real. Sometimes girls really are hardcore about making men wait. And when I say men, I mean betas. Do you think she would make Channing Tatum wait 6-7 months? Maybe she doesnt find you attractive enough to fuck sooner than 6 months. Maybe she will never let you fuck. In these cases I find the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Another possibility is she's putting on good girl theatre for you. She's laying down the groundwork for plausible deniability. So if you actually end up sleeping with her, there's a built in "oh I never move this fast" when of course she usually moves that fast.

The way I work it is I'll escalate her to the point where she puts up a soft barrier without escalating myself (she typically does anyway), then I'll make her escalate me (removing clothing, moving her hand downstairs etc) and then go back to it whilst pushing it.
