So I recently did a blood test and my CPK was almost seven times the “safe limit”, my doctor said that it was because of overtraining and that I must stop lifting weights for the rest of summer if I don’t want to destroy my liver. Now it is true that in the last weeks I have been working out for 2,5 hours doing compound movements, neck training, ab training and cardio. Could my CPK be so high because I had worked out too much the day before I did my last blood test and is it really that dangerous to continue lifting weights?
