So I went and picked a girl to be my LTR, after spinning plates for a while and having sex with all of them, I chose the girl who was the kindest, smartest, most interesting, lowest n-count, and who was also very attractive.

Thing is, she's not my typical type. She's got a great body, but I'm usually horniest for young blondes and she's a slightly older brunette, and HB7 I'd say. When I get horny, she is great, but when I'm not horny, her body by itself doesn't make me horny necessarily, especially as she can be quite in her head (part of what led to her low n-count I think).

Anyone else been in a relationship where your woman's body and attitude doesn't turn you on as much as your co-workers do, on an animalistic level? How do I get her to stop being so serious and philosophical and get her to be more light and playful and on a sexy-compatible vibration of interaction, if you get what I'm saying. Talking politics and meaning of life stuff is great — it's why I love my guy friends and why I thought this girl was such a great catch, because she can talk about these things and is interested in them and has good perspectives on them — but it's really not a turn on, and I'd like to be turned on by my girl, not just resort to turning her on when I get horny as a matter of course. Turning her on is not even really an issue. She's always down to have sex; she says she's always horny. But I can hardly tell because her animal is hidden behind all these layers of headiness and I'm not sure exactly what else.
