My best tips would be to go to high traffic areas, don't be too picky with you approach (its about getting practice), and to prioritize stationary/seated targets since they are generally more receptive.

Just remember to tone it down for day game. Your opener os basically gonna be casual conversation. Act like you were just hanging around bored and wanted to chat with someone.

Open by making some kind of mundane observation -- literally just let her in on your inner monologue. You will immediately know whether she's interested or not.

You don't even need to. Talk to the people around you when you do your normal routine. I always laugh when I hear guys complain they don't know where to meet women.

Do it enough and it becomes not a big deal. Often I won't even go for the number because I can't be bothered; there's no shortage of opportunities.

Speak on your surroundings. If she’s interested she may make it a bit easier for you.

Today while leaving the library, I was walking past a girl when I asked her if she thought it was going to rain (it’s been raining the past few days and it was overcast today). She said something as I continued walking, but she asked a question in which we proceeded to have a conversation and I got her number.

The point is: you can “game” girls every and anywhere. She made it easy for me as she was interested, but in general people are receptive to speak with you in person. It best to be in a social mood/vibe which can be achieved by speaking to everyone with no goal/purpose, but just commenting on things you observe such as if you see someone wearing a Ferrari shirt, ask them if they like Ferraris, etc.

Get in the habit of speaking to everyone. There’s a post on TRP about how to speak to everyone you see.

As far as tips, you can mention something that you and the girl spoke about earlier in the conversation and then tell her you’ll take her out there in which you want to grab her number. You can also ask her what she enjoys doing in her free time if she didn’t speak on anything you mentioned as far as going out together. An example of this is the girl today mentioned how she likes to watch people skate. I myself skate and told her I’ll take her to the skatepark.

It’s relatively simple bro. Just speak to people.
