I work in a very small team of 3, spread around the country. I am the lowest position (and youngest) as an associate, and they are full on territory managers.

Recently, I texted them happy new year, and told them that cops came to my door for loud music and threatened me with a 10k ticket (lockdown state).

I only had 6 people over, all of which were close family. I told my colleagues this (mistake for sure), and one of them who is more of a “by the book” guy completely berated me. He started calling me an idiot etc for not following the rules.

The next day, I woke up to another text stating that he’s disappointed in me and that I deserve that 10k ticket. I responded by saying “I am going to be more careful,” although I am livid.

This is a unicorn high paying job and I definitely don’t want to lose it, but I feel I’m not getting the respect I deserve.

How do I proceed?
