So recently I got into an LTR with a girl, and her birthday is coming up. I'm 20, she's turning 19. We both still live at home, I work full time and she goes to community college. We just started the LTR so its still fairly fresh, I felt as if I was starting to get along with her dad due to some mutual interests we share. For my LTR's birthday coming up, I got us an airbnb in the big city near us for a night. Considering I'm 20 and I make my own decisions as an adult, I assumed my LTR could as well. She told her dad about it and he's pissed, her mom is fine with it. He's not forbidding her from going, but, from what she told me, he doesn't like me so much anymore.

I respect the man in a way, since most dads these days are beta pussies who have no authority whatsoever. I respect that he's looking out for his daughter and wants to protect her.

So how do I deal with her dad now that he doesn't really see me as the guy he once thought I was?
