Ive been seeing this girl for 6 months but things have gotten blurry for me and maybe some insight could be shared.

I like this girl, we dated for a month until i ghosted her. I hit her back up after a month and were back on no issues. There came a period where i had to go home for a month and we talked during that month until i got back. I was back for another month before i was told i had to go on a trip for my job for 2 months. She didnt like that news but had been pushing for a commitment (hinting hard that we should be bf/gf). We kept in contact while I was away. Some of the things she says that make me think are " I know im gonna fall for you, but i also know youre leaving, and i dont want my feelings hurt" Im military btw. Now im back again and were going out/hooking up. Relationship came up and she said "I just wanna stay where we are" "I dont want to do long distance" "Lets just not label it, bt it feels like BF/GF". Every time you talk to her shes always thinking youre trying to backhandedly make a comment about something you dont like about her. I can say the sky is blue and she will come back do you not like me b/c the sky is blue? are you mad at me b/c the sky is blue?

There was so much push to become serious and then once im back she changes tone, granted ill be leaving again for 2 months but once im back im staying put ( until i leave for good). I cant tell if this is all just insecurity and her guarding herself from being hurt. Also idk if should believe her but she told me when we talked about exclusivity " youre the only guy im talking to". Im not sure why the sudden back off, how to play this, and what her deal is.
