If you have a plate who becomes sick or has some kind of personal issue, and tells you about it, should you ever bring it up or just let them deal with it themselves?

I get that I'm not her emotional tampon and I'm not her family/close friends, but also trying to find the line between being overkill RP heartless and actually showing some kind of empathy.

Example - whilst on a date plate tells you she has a doc appointment on xx date because of xx problem and she feels bad about it.

Would you text her on that day saying something like "hope it goes ok today" or just stfu and let her handle her own problems? Would it be seen as beta chump to say something or could you fail some kind of comfort test by ignoring it after she brings it up?
