So I met this girl on tinder. We had a couple of dates and I thought they went well. I had planned a third but she flaked on me; the first red flag.

I bought into her bs and turned orbiter for two weeks only to find out she's been seeing someone else. She told me straight up, which I was thankful for, but on our dates she kept complimenting me on my looks and attitude which has me confused.

We lived about an hour and a half away from each other, and her new guy lives in her town. I've got mixed feelings about the whole thing; I'm relieved to know it's over but can't help but wonder why she ditched me.

I'm going to try to get other dates to take my mind off the whole thing but can tell it's going to stick with me for a few days at the least. Looking for advice on dealing with my ego.
