Girl on my job. Cute Nice but kinda boring. Talked to her for a few months but Been losing interest in her. So for the last month I have been flaky, not talked to her even though she would text me repeatedly and flat out ignore her. So I just Texted her and said we need to talk. She said we do. When I call I ask her what she wanted to talk about and she said that she thinks "we should be stay as friends" so I say cool. When she asked me I wanted to talk about I said "actually the same thing, we should be friends". She said "really ? " and I said yes. Before we hung up she said "if you ever want to talk or something you can call me" so I said " no thanks" and then she tried to ask her how my weekend is going I said " I dont really see the point in talking about anything" so we said bye . I said this All In a very confident voice. My question is ... Did I do this beta? I don't want to seem like I'm salty or mad about the situation. I mean in reference to letting her speak first/ saying no thanks about being her friend/ and telling her I don't see the point in talking about my weekend.
